We currently have 21 amazing alpacas and we cannot wait for you to meet them! Check out Tours & Walks Page for more info!

Females

Earl Grey

Earl Grey

Earl Grey is a shy, but very sweet alpaca, who will stand by the hay feeder or inside the barn and just observe visitors. She does not appreciate pets, but she does seem to appreciate verbal admiration. Earl Grey officially joined the herd in 2024, after several years as a winter boarder with us. Her family had a small herd of alpacas, all with unique cafe inspired names like Drip and Mocha, and every winter they boarded their alpacas with us. Over the years, Earl Grey's herd mates naturally passed, until she was the last one, and her family decided she needed to be with a herd she was already familiar with, and we are lucky to have her.

Ginger

Ginger

7/14/10

Ginger is one of the sweetest alpacas on the ranch. She would love to take a treat from you and maybe get a sniff in, but she is too polite to push through the others to get to you (but you can probably get to her instead!). Her fiber is soft and dense, and she is a really great mom. We can rely on Ginger to tell us if we have a weak spot in the fence, because she will have half of her body through it just to eat the 5 blades of grass she didn't get to yesterday. She is the mom of Millie, Mr. Spud, and Hermes.

Arwen

Arwen

9/7/11

One of our original herd, and Aria's daughter, Arwen has spent most of her life on the ranch. When you visit the ranch, you are never quite sure what you will get from Arwen, she may prefer to hang back by the hay feeder, or inside the barn, or she may meet you at the gate and let you pet and hug her (an honor, she is one of the few alpacas that will allow hugs). She is the mom of our first alpaca born on the ranch, Maize (our trouble maker), and Independence (Indy).

Jean Ann

Jean Ann

7/10/12

The mom of Mr. Superior, Jean Ann is one of our foundation herd. You will most likely not get to interact much with Jean Ann when you come for a tour, as she is content to stay by the hay feeder and observe from a distance. She is far from unfriendly, but she is shy and uncomfortable around people. You'll be able to admire her spotted fiber though

Adelaide

Adelaide

8/31/13

The first thing you will notice is her beautiful brown/red fiber! Adeliade was also one of our original 3 girls and came to us freshly weaned from her mom and has grown up on the farm. She is one of our curious alapcas, but also one of our most cautious. She will wait very patiently for you to give her a treat and when she takes it, she will simultaneously lean towards you, and away from you. She is an excellent mom who has passed on her sweet personality and color to her kids, Cassius, Artemis, Opal & Caesar.

Misty Dawn

Misty Dawn

6/14/14

Misty Dawn is the mom of Willow, Leo and Roman on the ranch, and she is an excellent mother that has given her beautiful thick fiber to all of her offspring. Not only does she have a unique white face, she has incredible blue eyes. Misty loves to be part of the action, but only on her terms. When you visit, she will most likely join in the greeting crew, but behind the others. Once the treats appear though, she is only interested in one thing...How to get ALL of the treats you have!

Maize

Maize

5/29/15

Maize was our very first alpaca born on the ranch to Arwen. She has the strongest personality on the ranch and loves to interact with visitors. She will most likely come up to inspect you, and might even nip at your calves, pants legs, sleeves or shirt collar, usually because you stopped giving her treats. (Alpacas only have teeth on the bottom so it does not hurt, just startles). Maize is the dominant alpaca on the ladies side and she likes to show this dominance off by jumping on or mounting one of the other ladies. When we fill the hay feeders or water buckets, she'll sneak up behind us and bite the back of our arms, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We absolutely adore Maize the menace.

Willow Grace

Willow Grace

6/25/17

Willow is one of the first girls that will meet you when you walk through the gate. No, it is not because she is a social butterfly, this is all business for her. She wants to know where the treats are, how many you have, and why you are even looking in the other girls' direction when she can eat all of those treats right now. But that also means you can sneak some pets in while she is distracted! She loves hanging out with her pal Millie, and used to follow her grandmother Xena around everywhere. Willow is another beautiful Misty Dawn daughter, and is the mother of Fennec.

Millie

Millie

7/16/17

Despite being an oppurtine escape artist, Millie is just as sweet as her mom, Ginger. However, she is a little more assertive and will be a half step behind (or in front) of Willow to meet you when you come through the gate. She is a very polite treat eater and is adept at getting her fill. You will definitely want to sneak some pets in while you are visiting as she will tolerate it better than most. She is the mother of both Gaius and Florian.

Artemis

Artemis

8/26/19

Artemis will be one of the first alpacas to greet you when you walk in, along with Willow and Millie usually. She loves her treats, and unlike her mom Adelaide, she is willing to be more assertive in the herd to get those treats. She also happens to be one of our sweetest and most mellow alpacas (like her dad Murphy was) on the ranch. Artemis is one of the easiest alpacas to pet, as she is laser focused on the treats and does not mind being pet. She loves to lay at the base of the hay feeder and make us lean over her to put hay in, so she is covered. She is the mother of Augustus.

Males

Freyr

Freyr

6/26/15

Freyr was our first boy born on the ranch, and is the son of Aria and Eclipse. Despite now being the oldest boy, you can often find Freyr wrestling with and chasing the younger boys still. Freyr loves his treats, but he will wait until he is sure you have treats to share before coming close. Freyr is often featured on our socials with his goofy grins and playful personality.

Cassius

Cassius

6/23/16

The son of Adelaide and Eclipse, Cassius was a really exctiing addition to the ranch with his color and overall sweetness. He is one of our most well known alpacas due to his "Nose boops". He is nervous about being pet, but if you slowly approach him, one at a time with your hands down and your face outstetched towards him, he will often reward you with a nose boop! He has beautiful fiber that is burnt umber at the tips and pure black at the base. Cassius is the sire of Gaius, and Hermes.
Available for breeding, please contact us if interested.

Mr. Spud

Mr. Spud

7/20/16

The first half of the iconic "Potato Boys" duo, Spud is the more rambunctious of the pair and spends his days wrestling with his buddy Leonidas (Leo). He has beautiful crimped fiber and outstanding bloodlines. His first baby on the ranch, Roman, might have the very best fiber on the farm, thanks to his dads excellent genes. If you visit the Potato Boys, they will definitely shy away from any pets, but Spud will at least gently take treats from you, and its worth the visit just to see his muttonchops.
Available for breeding, please contact us if interested.

Mr. Superior

Mr. Superior

07/25/16

The second half of the iconic Potato Boys duo, Mr. Superior is one of the absolute best bloodlines on the farm, with his thick, shiny fiber and sturdy physique. He is the son of Jean Ann, but was actually born in Northern Maine on a potato farm (Just like Mr. Spud). He is the overseer of the outer pasture, always silently judging and reprimanding the other boys to behave. He is famous for his flat unwavering stare, especially when we go to break up the others shenanigans, and check out his ear tufts!!
Available for breeding, please contact us if interested.

Independence (Indy)

Independence (Indy)

7/4/18

Born on the Fourth of July, this was an obvious name choice for us. He goes by Indy on the ranch, and is the son of Arwen and Eclipse. Indy is a calm, friendly anf easy going alpaca, and will come right up to you when you visit the boys side. Indy is one of our easy going walkers when you take him on a guided walk, and is very polite about taking his share of treats.

Leonidas

Leonidas

6/23/19

The puffball of the ranch, his ability to grow beautiful thick fiber, and lots of it, is amazing. Yarn made with his fiber is easy to spot with its own individual shine. He unexpectedly befriendewd the Potato Boys during his weaning anf essentially refused to leave their side, so we let him move in with them! His best buddy is Mr. Spud, who he continuously antagonizes into wrestling and games of chase.  We are excited for him to pass his amazing fiber on. He is the son of Misty Dawn, and is now the father of Florian!

Gaius

Gaius

7/26/20

One of our friendliest alpacas and easily our most walked. Gaius figured out early on that a walk means extra treats, and we rarely need to corner him to put a halter on. Gentle and friendly describe him well, as does gluttonous. His beautiful reddish brown fiber will catch your eye, and his friendliness (and habit of sucking the fence) will have you in love before you leave. The first cria born to Cassius and Millie.

Roman

Roman

7/14/22

Roman was born a few weeks early in July of 2022, with none of the tell tale labor signs from his mom, Misty Dawn. We were worried about him being so early, but he was immediatley ready to go, up and walking faster than any cria we have had before. He was healthy and strong from the start, and his fiber may end up being the best on the ranch as he grows up. He is Mr. Spud's first cria, and has since moved in to the Potato Boys side, where he hangs out with his dad and half brother Leo, wrestling and living his best life.

Fennec

Fennec

7/11/23

Fennec is the first cria born from Mr. Spud and Willow. He was born just a few weeks before his best buddy, Augustus, amd the two have been inseperable since. Fennec is a really sweet alpaca thats comes right up to greet you, although he is just a little more shy than the others. He has some of the best fiber on the ranch, and is a medical miracle as he survived life saving surgery at just 7 months old. He is now doing wonderful, and is one of our alpacas that we bring to the local nursing home to bring comfort to the residents there.

Augustus

Augustus

8/1/23

The son of Mr. Superior and the first son of Artemis, Augustus has taken his mom's (and grandfather's) temperment and mellowness to another level. He is a ranch favorite that is comfortable in most situations, and is one of your best bets to get a pet in. Everyone who meets Augustus adores him, and he is one of the other alpacas we regularly bring to the local nursing home to visit residents, as he is always calm and sweet to everyone he meets there.

Florian

Florian

7/11/24

A little small in size, Florian makes up for it with his long crimpy fiber and his sweet, calm personality. He is the son of Millie, and first cria from Leonidas. From the start, Florian trusted our 4 (now 5) year old son to halter train him and lead him around, and he is sure to become a favorite among those who take him for a walk!

Caesar

Caesar

7/16/24

The largest baby we have had born on the ranch, at 24 lbs as a newborn, Caesar has always stood out with his size and bright white beautiful fiber. Born a week after Florian, they are best buds, although Caesar has always towered over Florian from day one. Caesar has a stronger, more assertive and playful personality than Florian, so we are still working on his halter training to add him to the walk roster. He should be a regular by the end of this summer season. He is the son of Adelaide and Mr. Superior.

In Loving Memory

Aria

Aria was one of our original 6 alpacas we started the ranch with in 2014. She was the oldest alpaca on our ranch until she passed in 2025, and was the matriarch of the whole girls' herd. We were lucky enough to have 4 of her offspring, 3 boys (Maestro, Freyr, and Rainey) and 1 girl (Lady Arwen). She was our original treat monster, always the first to rush to visitors to ensure she got what she deserved, and only slightly slowed down as she got older. Aria started off as one of the most nervous alpacas, but slowly became one of Ben's best friends, and always went out of her way to say hi to him. We will cherish the memories Aria has left us with, along with her remaining offspring.

Maestro

One of our original boys and the son of Aria, Maestro was a gelded male and was Ben's first alpaca friend. He was extremely mellow, until the grain bowl came out and then, like his grandmother, he was one of the first ones to the bowls. When he was comfortable, he loved a good neck scratch and a chance to sniff your hat. He was also one of our most adventurous walkers, and enjoyed a good scratch against the trees or a roll in the bushes. Maestro was a favorite of everyone who visited, and all who got the chance to work with him. We miss Maestro dearly, and we are grateful we got to spend most of his life with him on the ranch.
